J and Nic talk about the first year of Borderlands 3.
J is playing the endgame of Avengers as we speak, and that is a fascinating topic to discuss. We did miss a couple of things last week but fortunately, we can quickly discuss some important news whenever it drops (or if we forget) because this weekly show is in fact, weekly. And with that, welcome all to one of the busiest shows we’ve ever done.
Goldilocks gamer J and friendly neighbourhood Nic finished the newest Borderlands 3 DLC: Bounty of Blood. They talk through their THOUGHTS on the latest expansion before going through more than expected non-E3 gaming NEWS. A GAME QUOTE by J ponders some food for thought, and we play another GUESS WHOS REVIEW. Sorry upfront – we were tired. *Apology accepted…Captain Needa*.
Your friendly neighbourhood Nic and the Goldilocks gamer J, as always, have a lot to talk about this week. It’s an especially busy week because of the NEWS of Crash 4, the Cyberpunk Night City event, and an equivalent Avengers breakdown. We not only cover all of that, but discuss why NAUGHTY DOG is one of the best game developers – possibly the GOAT. We DEBATE whether gamers are loyal to developers the same way film fans are loyal to Directors or Writers, and GUESS WHO’S REVIEW!!! WE’LL BE BACK.
While Nick is evermore close to finishing Red Dead II, J has platinumed Trials of Mana, played through the latest Borderlands 3 Mayhem 2.0 update, and tried out Predator: Hunting Grounds. In terms of NEWS, Nick has some emotional words to say about TLOU II leaks whilst J has some reservations about the Final Fantasy VII Remake. We talk about the GENRE that is Star Wars Games, DEBATE whether games are too pretty, and give you a FUN FACT about Red Dead II.
This week on the TGO Show Nick and J have many things they want to get off their chests. Such as J’s thoughts on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s new Battle Royale mode Warzone, how trophies/achievements affect a games longevity…
I could tell you about Nick and J’s thoughts on Borderlands 3’s second campaign DLC as they’ve both finished it. But I would be mistaken in telling you these things…
